Maintenance Loan
The maximum loan you can apply for in 2022/23 is £9,706 A percentage of the loan is offered without having your household income assessed. The amount you receive will also depend on whether you live in rented accommodation or stay at home with your parent/s. The loan is less in your final year of study.

Maintenance Grant
A non-repayable award to students who come from households where the income level is assessed by Student Finance as being below £42,875 The amount of grant you receive reduces the higher the income. For 2022/23 the maximum grant is £4,009

Maintenance Loan

Tuition Fee Loan
The Tuition Fee Loan for continuing students will be up to £9,250 which is the tuition fee charged by the University of Nottingham to continuing 'home', undergraduate, students who started their course in September 2016 or later. For students who started 2012 - 2016 the tuition fee will remain at £9,000. This loan is not means tested.
