We hope that your exams go well but we do know that, unfortunately, sometimes you might miss an exam or be unable to complete an exam due to illness, injury or another circumstance outside of your control.
If this is the case then you shouldn't worry, but you should fill out an extenuating circumstances form as soon as you can. It’s also advisable that you report your absence prior to the exam. Your school/department may have designated people to contact or it could be your Personal Tutor, a Welfare Officer or a Service Centre. The advice below will guide you through the process for submitting a claim of extenuating circumstances.
Don't forget that you'll need to provide evidence to support your claim. Here's some guidance on obtaining medical certification.
